View Once Daily
“View once daily before bedtime or four times a day every five days until symptoms disappear.”
A color painting based on a black and white original by the Song dynasty Chinese painter Li Tang (李唐 c. 1050-1130) as a way to learn from his style. He was famous for his “ax cut” texture strokes. This is one of a series of paintings called “New Antiques” on a traditional, but now hard to find, paper which resembles the look of antique paintings on weathered silk. The text is mine and was not on the original model.
