Description
Inscribed: “When I was a boy my hands and clothes were often stained with pitch from climbing high into the pine trees. Now I’m afraid my grandson may never know such fun.”
Color painting based on an old black and white work by an unknown Chinese artist. In the inscription is “amici memoriam” which is Latin for “in memory of an old friend” since I consider all the past artists of China as my friends.
