Inscribed: “Paintings carry a lifetime warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship and does not include normal wear and tear, environmental conditions, improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, fire, theft, vandalism, riot, or explosion; altering, disassembly or modification; subjecting the painting to excessive moisture or water or any other fluids; acts of god, natural disasters and other similar causes beyond the artist’s reasonable control. This limited warranty does not cover surface deterioration of paint, mounting, or frame. Should damage or dissatisfaction occur, return to artist in original packaging for repair or replacement at the artist’s discretion.” The inscription is mine and not on the original.
