Stepping Into the Clouds

Lake Tai stone in the southwest corner of the Scholar’s Courtyard in Lan Su Chinese Garden, Portland, OR (USA). Created as an illustrations for the book by Lynn Connor titled The Stones and the Poet.

The words “stepping into the clouds” are carved into the side of the stone but not shown in the illustration for the book.
